Danielle is a community-builder and master connector who has worked with some of Canada’s top startups and technology brands to build stakeholder engagement and grow their brand. She is currently the Manager of Growth & Partnerships at Intersect, where she leads business development, strategic partnerships, and marketing.
Before joining Intersect, Danielle held a series of senior roles at top agencies, investment firms, and startup incubators that helped her build a broad network of entrepreneurs, investors, corporate partners, and stakeholders in Canada’s startup and technology ecosystems. She led partnerships and community engagement at digital products firm TWG (The Working Group), helping to build its profile in the Canadian technology community, and at venture capital firm ScaleUP Ventures, where she built brand equity and connections with ScaleUP’s LPs, portfolio companies, and corporate investors.
The roles that jumpstarted her career were at Canada’s top startup accelerators. From 2014-2017 Danielle led community engagement at The DMZ, working with hundreds of startups including Sensibill and Sampler, as well as with countless mentors, advisors, and Fortune 500 partners. She was also instrumental in building out the global network of incubation partners, including a DMZ location in Mumbai. She started her career working at NEXT Canada, working with the non-profit organization’s team on communications and program growth.
In addition to her professional roles, Danielle is an avid supporter of Canadian startups, and an active member of Toronto’s startup community. She’s committed to driving impact in addition to business success and commits her spare time to mentoring young entrepreneurs supporting initiatives for women in tech.
