Greetly, powered by Black’s Photography, uses your Facebook photos to create beautiful, personalized greeting cards that you can physically send to your friends and family. By authenticating with Facebook, users can simply select their contacts and Greetly will analyze and build a dynamic grid of the best photos available. Users can then adjust or select different photos for their greeting card as well as edit the messaging and layout. We hope the product reduces the time and effort involved with finding the right photos to create a thoughtful birthday card for your friends and family.
Greetly contributes to Black’s ultimate goal: Lead the internet photo revolution by making digital photo moments “real.” By offering a personalized, social media-integrated, photo experience that (we hope) consumers will love to print and share, Greetly is looking to drive a change in behaviour from just photo-taking, to photo-printing.
Black’s came to us with a goal, and 12-weeks later we had created a new brand and product to help them connect with a new audience, and find new ways of driving photo-printing. Our entire service offering, including Strategy, UXD, Data Science, Engineering, and Product Success were involved in bringing this to life, and of course we aren’t done. As with all of our products, we are following a data-driven development cycle and will continue to identify opportunities to improve Greetly and Black’s offering to the customers we are developing.
Since launch only a few weeks ago, we have been constantly monitoring all aspects of the product and media support, and optimizing the media, messaging, imagery, and product daily.
Here is a snapshot of the numbers behind the Greetly launch to date:
- Over 3,100 cards shipped
- Over 5,500 open graph actions shared on Facebook
- 22% of all shipped cards have come from referrals from Facebook shares, open-graph actions, or page posts
